SUMMER MOUNTAIN LEADER REFRESHER

Preparing for your mountain leader assessment can sometimes feel daunting. Take some of the stress away by doing a 2 day refresher course. During the course people normally want to go through navigation and ropework but the content can be tailored for your needs. 

I recommend leaving a good amount of time between doing a refreshed course and your assessment. At least a couple of months. You may want to practice updated or new skills you learn on the course before your assessment.

As an accredited mountain leader summer course director you can be sure you will have the opportunity to learn the most current and up to date information to help get you ready to pass your summer mountain leader assessment.

What’s included

Instruction from a highly qualified instructor. The instructor working this course will be a summer mountain leader course director. This will ensure your training will be from a person who is actively working and running summer mountain leader trainings and assessments. Therefore your training will be of the highest level from people who know and understand the award. 

What you need

You will need all the walking equipment you would use as if you were on your assessment. If there is any specialist kit you don’t have, like a group shelter, please get in touch.
