Whether it's your first time or you want to be guided up some hard classics, North Wales has levels of rock climbing to suit everyone.

All technical equipment is provided.


Taster Days

If you’re looking to climb in a small group, up to 10 people, then we can go to one of the many single pitch (normally less than 30m high) crags local to Llanberis. This is ideal for groups of friends or families. These days can include climbing, abseiling or both.

The rest of my rock courses are staffed on a 1 instructor : 1 or 2 client ratio. This gives you the best possible climbing experience and the best level of instruction. A lot of these courses will be on multi pitch venues including spectacular mountain crags or sea cliffs.


Introduction to Rock Climbing

This course will introduce you to the fundamentals of rock climbing on some of the amazing mountain rock faces in Snowdonia. Each day will be tailored to your own needs and aspirations. Rope handling skills, climbing movement skills and abseiling will all be covered.

Improvers Rock Climbing

This course is for people who have some climbing experience and are looking to move up the climbing grades.

Learning to ‘layback’ climbing on ‘Dinnas Mot’ in the Llanberis Pass.


Learn to Lead Climb

This course is designed for people who have a good base knowledge of outdoor rock climbing. Having seconded routes of grade server this course will build on your skills with the aim of getting you lead climbing. Placing your own protection, safeguarding yourself and your climbing partner.

Guided Climbing

This course is ideal for everybody. You’ll be taken out on a climbing adventure to suite your ability. The focus on this course is fun and enjoying the amazing sport of rock climbing. You will be shown some basic climbing technics and then it's off climbing. If you are already familiar with the basics and have preferred routes or destinations in mind we can build those things into our plans. A truly bespoke experience.

Classic Rock

Hard Rock

You have guessed it. ‘Hard Rock’ is the sequel to ‘Classic Rock’. This inspiring book contains 69 of the greatest climbing routes in the UK graded between VS and up to E4.

Outdoor Bouldering

This course is designed to let climbers experience the fantastic outdoor bouldering North Wales has to offer. After selecting a venue that matches your wants and needs, this course will both teach you how to stay safe at a real rock bouldering venue and how to get the most out of your session. Pad placement, bouldering ethics and practices and climbing movement skills are covered.
